Main Street closed in Springfield due to fire at Town House Motor Lodge

Fire crews closed East Main Street in Springfield after a fire was reported in the office of the Town House Motor Lodge.

According to our crew on the scene, smoke was still coming from the office at around 5 p.m., but the fire appeared to be out.

It is unknown whether anyone was hurt during the fire or how much damage was caused.

We have reached out to the Springfield Fire and Rescue Division, and will update this story with any new information.
